Raw Leiba signs deal with 'Cowboy Up'.

"Friday Jan 2,2002 Billings Mt- Actor/Stuntman and Sports model Raw Leiba has signed a modeling deal with Cowboy Up Clothing.Terms were not disclosed but both sides describe the deal as "mutually satisfactory". This is the first time the Montana based clothing manufacturer went outside of it's "regular people" models to sign someone with star power. "Mr Leiba's physique and his ability to transform himself into what we believe is the perfect image for our company made this union necessary",said Western Clothing Inc president Jake Mendenhall. "He just looks damn good in our ads". The ads, the first released Tuesday are meant to attract the younger more "macho" cowboy and of course women. The latest ad shows Leiba in a classic straw cowboy hat ,blue jeans and a leather vest showing a finely chiseled physique. Leiba has done sports modeling before but he is primarily known for his role as Russell 'Stringer' Bell's (Idis Elba) bodyguard "Cave" from HBO'S 'The Wire'. Leibas other credits include Streetfighter,Kiddnapped (NBC),The Knights of Prosperity(ABC). Leiba was reportedly offered a role on NBC'S American Gladiators but turned it down."
