"Xanadu did exactly what it was supposed to do - entertain and make you imagine what it would be like to have a muse like Olivia breathe life into your dreams and have a sugar-daddy like Gene finance them! This movie was not supposed to provoke political though, cure world-hunger or make you a better person. It was created to make you dream, for your mind to be mesmerized by the colors, the music and the beauty of its entirety. The music was great, the plot was cute, and while today many might laugh at the roller-boogie of the last scene, it takes me back to my high school years where going to the rink was THE thing to do! Thank you Olivia, Gene and ELO for making a movie and music that I still enjoy to this day!!!!!"

Conan - The Complete Quest

"I almost did not buy the 2 movie package because I saw the reviews stating that conan the destroyer is not in 16:9 ratio..Well for the price i bought it anyway since I wanted both movies.Both Conan's came in letter box wide screen format..Someone is confused..Both movies look pretty good on a 47' widescreen HDTV. Shading is a little off, but every outdoor movie is off do to sunlight..My main point of this review is to tell people that do not waste your money on 2 seperate movies by the box set and you will be more then happy."

"She was still smoking here, and was clearly in her early 40s, with all her original parts and no augmentations, nips or tucks. Sadly, you have to wade through the utter poo this movie is to get to those parts, but that's why Jesus invented the chapter skip button for dvd players."

"This is one of those movies that you've gotta love because it's so awful. Bad costuming, low-budget special effects, terrible acting - what more could a film fan ask for? Great campy fun, and an absolute howler."

"Hell comes to frogtown is a little seen gem. After nuclear war, almost every man on the planet is impotent and frogs have grown to human size. One of these frogs, commander toty, has kidnapped some fertile women because of their value to humans. Sam hell (rowdy roddy piper) has the highest sperm count of any man on the planet and he is called in to save the women from frogtown and get them pregnant. The dvd of this film is good, but doesn't have nearly enough extras. The trailer, production notes booklet and commentary (by donald g. Jackson and randall frakes) are good but this release could've been helped by more extra material."

Conan - The Complete Quest

"The movie content is fine if you're a Conan fan. If you buy this DVD, read my advice here. On side one (Conan the Barbarian side) there is a defect in track 13. My first copy froze up totally on this defect spot. Amazon's replacement had a slight pause in the exact same place. So if you buy this go directly to scene 13 on side one to be sure the copy you bought plays OK. If anyone knows how to pass this defect info onto Amazon, be my guest. The movie Conan the Barbarian also has a different ending compaired to the movie I saw in theaters long time ago. The different ending is OK I guess. Just the added content didn't add to or take away from this picture. I actually liked the original ending better myself."
