Between Heaven and Hell

"There is not much to recommend this trivial world war II drama. Broderick Crawford, Buddy Ebsen, and Robert Wagner all confirm their tertiary status in the Hollywood pantheon. The plot is inept and incredible, staggering through bunches of flashbacks. The minor miracle (Rich and arrogant southern playboy/landowner comes of age and learns to love the common man) is insufficiently believable. The battle action is sporadic.HOWEVER, the DVD presentation is fine. Super-saturated colors come through perfectly, and the definition is great! The DVD quality is the sole reason I give the film 2 stars rather than 1.May I recommend films such as Patton, Tora Tora Tora, or the Longest Day for fine World War II action!"

Saber Marionette J Again - Plasmatic Crisis Collection

"Saber J again is a cute anime about three marionettes named Lime Cherry and Bloodberry. They have maiden circuits which give them hearts and souls. This show is very cute, touching and funny. The antics of the gay Hanagata will leave you on the floor and the heart warming stories will leave tears on your cheeks. This is a MUST buy for any otaku fan!"

Saber Marionette J Again - Plasmatic Crisis Collection

"I've always liked these series since i watched them on tv. i was amazed on how addictive they can be.this program 26 is a very good link between series and a 'must see' to understand the first episodes of saber marionette j to x. it's a new story that explains how tiger got up and was repaired. the character design is very similar to the j to x series, the same fresh and younger look.if you liked saber marionette j as much as i did you'll surely enjoy watching this one.a must buy for smj and smjx fans all over the world."

"Comic Party is a sweet and FUNNY way to look in the lives of young comic writers and artists. Any writer or drawer might even see a little bit in themsleves as the story goes along. The Desperate Trail

"Desperate Trail is a decent film but nothing really amazing. The story is fairly strait-forward with nothing truly origional but decent. Unfortunatly the characters could use some work. None are particularly well-developed or interesting. Scheffer and Forientino are both rather flat leaving Eliot with the only strong performance and his character really should have gotten more screen time.The action sequences are generally well done with a good use of slow motion and editing. What really pumps up the scenes is the excellent soundtrack. They aren't masterfully done but are exciting enough to warrent seeing the movie.Desperate Trail is a competent western but nothing revolutionary."
