"Leah had kind of expected when Brad asked her to the prom that it would end like this. At least he's the quarterback, she thought as he stepped closer." - Go to picture >>
"I bought this as a fan of 'Wallace and Gromit' and a fan of animation. The animation is fine, but if you are expecting a story with the kind of humor and action you get in 'The Wrong Trousers' or 'A Close Shave' you too will be disappointed. If you want a harmless holiday DVD to distract the kids for a while, you'll be happy. For me, I can't honestly see pulling this out every year (unless the kids ask for it). For my money, I'd rather watch 'A Christmas Story' or any of the the old Rudolph/Santa movies from my childhood."
"This movie is hilarious, and i would give the movie itself 4 our of 5 stars. but there is hardly any difference between the unrated cut and the r rated cut of the movie. when you have topless women on the menu and on the back of the cover, one might be mislead to think there was tons more nudity, when in reality there are 2 brief scenes with any type of nudity (besides will ferrel's butt scene). this movie could have easily passed the r rating cut, as the unrated thing is nothign but a marketing ploy. i bought the movie for laughs and definately not for sex, but for someone who does, the 'unrated and out of control' part is quite misleading."
"I saw this movie on cable and just had to buy it. It is a great love story. I loved the scene when Jimmie is waiting for Taylor after he gets out of the hospital. When he sees her coming home with Scott in the morning he thinks she has spent the night with him. The emotions he shows are wonderful when he tries to leave, but comes back. You can tell he is so confused. It is great!!!!...."
"Emmy voters, last year you made a step in the right direction with your nomination of Kevin James (the FIRST for the show in 8 years!) but this is your last chance to correct a big bowl of wrong by showing some well-deserved love for this, one of the funniest shows ever. I am especially begging for you not to ignore Jerry Stiller for performing the high-wire acting role of Arthur to comic perfection! "
"This is a fantastic short that I've seen before on TV and thought wow I'll buy the DVD. No real regrets but what a shock and disappointment I got when I noticed a distinct change in voice overs. What they've done is taken away those wonderful characterful voices from the original and dubbed over weak and uninvolving American voices. Who do we think we are changing something this good just because they are not home grown accents. This is arrogant and to be frank all I dislike about this great but often self-centered country of ours."
"I have seen this movie more times than I can count on my fingers and toes. I went to a small college and while I was there my friends and I discovered Glory Daze. This movie perfectly captures the life of a small college. We thought so and it kind of became our anthem. The film follows the lives of a group of housemates as the inevitable graduation approaches in a few days. Then they will go their separate ways. Through the course of this movie one funny thing after another happens. They have a party, they talk about life and love, graduate, and break stuff. Like I said this movie is sentemental to me and most people I show it to that do not come from similar perspective are disappointed. I would recommend it to people who went to small colleges or die hard Affleck fans."
