"After missing the films release at the cinema i decided to buy the film anyway as my friends had said that it was very good, and i have to agree with them. I hadnt seen the original so this was a totaly new film to me and i loved it all the way through. The storyline is there, there are plenty of deaths, the special effects are great and the cast certainly earned their pay."

"Another attempt to go cheap fails. Warner was wise to market these two movies together, but then they went and put them on a double-sided disk. I'm returning the third unit I bought later today. All three DVDs were defective on one side (the 1999 version). Same defect in the same place on all three disks. Great quality control, right? Hollywood wants to sell you on DVDs, then Blu-Tooth, HDTV, ad nauseum, but the fact is that DVD sales are dropping because the quality of the DVDs are sinking fast. Like Universal, Warner--the company that brought us Brokeback Superman Returns--is now shipping shoddy DVDs. Everytime I get a bum disk, I buy less DVDs in the ensuing weeks. Get it yet, Hollywood?"

"In comparison to the original version this is far better because of the special effects(excellent) and more modernised than the Vincent price original. The plot is basically that Mr price has a party in this house which used to me a mental asylem and is apparently haunted. Mr Price decides to offer people 1 million dollars each if they stay in the house all night and are around in the morning to collect thier reward however the Invitations are mysteriously sent out to the wrong people it begins from there. Saying anymore will spoil this great film which when I wathced it I thought that it would be superb on DVD with dolby 5.1 ! Buy it soon."

Serial Killing 101

"i just got finished watching this movie on Moviebeam so the review is still fresh in my mind, so here it goes....this movie was such a piece of crap! the name of the movie serial killing 101 and you only saw one person die in the entire film (and that was @ the end of the movie!) dont buy it, dont rent it, dont watch it! the only thing this movie killed was my brain cells from having to watch such dribble! "
