"I loved this movie it was fun and action packed. You will like the martial arts fihgts and the 'LITTE' heroe of this movie. You have to watch it to enjoy this move and see great and beautiful styles of fighting. Jacky is Great!"

"This movie is an excellent and effective combination of comedy, martial arts mastery, likable characters, and rapid-fire action. Although it lacked a solid story--self-taught Tai Chi fighter helping Chinese revolutionaries dressed in English attire butting heads with traditionally clad Chinese militia in cohorts with opium-smuggling English citizens--the well positioned, amazingly choreographed fight scenes are well worth the purchase. Jacky Wu is a fresh face in the world of Hong Kong martial arts movies of today. With his acting and martial arts talent--highly evident in this movie--he is sure to go far."

The Bodyguard from Beijing

"I saw this movie when I was little and liked it, and I have always been a Jet Li fan. When I received the dvd I was looking forward to watching it. The quality is horrible!! It was just dubbed from vhs and it is kind of blurry. Wish i did not purchase this."

"What is erotic? What is tragic? Is there a difference? There are so many films that focus on sex and the seemingly inevitable disastrous outcome of having it thati** remarkable anyone has anything else to say on the subject. Nonzee Nimibutr's film explores a multi-layered onion of sex, family, and above all, dysfunction. As with most foreign films, the tone is heavy and the sex seems even more seedy, depressing, and ultimately pathetic. This might be precisely the point Nimibutr wants to make with Jan Dara, but it is difficult to give much back as a viewer. Our main character is seen growing from child to man, played by different actors and therefore, we lose our connection with him. Ultimately, its simply sad and I kept waiting for it to end. "

The Defender

"Jet stars as a bodyguard (obviously). Kind of a rip off of 'The Bodyguard', except Jet makes Costner look like an amateur. Great action, good plot, and Jet's smooth moves make this a decent modern-day action movie."

"The film is bodyguard from beijing and not the defender as disney has renaimed it.avoid any dvd from disney/dimension that does not have the original film.show them that we are aware of what they are doing"
