"This adaptation was FAR superior to the Hollywood version by Gwyneth Paltrow. For one thing, Kate Beckinsale truly 'was' Emma. Intelligent, yet misguided, wanting to do the right thing, yet blinded by her own prejudices. This woman can act, unlike the 'other' Emma, plus she looked like my ideal version of Emma. The writing was much closer to the book, particularly in the prominence of the Jane Fairfax/Frank Churchill story, which was virtually ignored in the other movie (maybe because the lovely Polly Walker who played Jane in the Hollywood version was too much competition for Gwyneth Paltrow). The village and the sets also seemed much less fake-looking than in the Hollywood film. If you want to see a great adaptation of a beloved novel, this is the one to pick."

"The DVD is great, but the Audio CD that comes with it contains the SunnComm spyware, which installs silently, is hidden, informs SunnComm of your listening behavior, and is near impossible to remove. So, don't play this Audio CD on your PC! No problems if you play it on a normal CD player."

"the fantastic videos for the Mexican TV and Radio #1 'white Flag' and 'life For rent' i don't have words to say how amazong are. ok, this DVD has just 2 videos but, whatever is amazing anyway!..... and the Cover of the DVD Single are the seem Photo than the 'White Flag' European Single!. "

Dido - Here With Me/Thankyou

"I love it as much as love everything Dido does.I relly like the 'Here with me' video it was done with a great sense of style as well as the album, but what I enjoyed the most is the 'Thank you' acoustic version because it shows her great talent and bautifull voice. If you are a big fan go get it."

Dido - Here With Me/Thankyou

"I really enjoyed Here with me. Thankyou was done more like an unplugged intimate thing, but did not impress me. Overall it is pretty short to just put two songs on a DVD. The CD on the other hand is awesome."
