Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Collection 1995-1999

"When i first heard about it, I was excited and could not wait to get my hands on it. however, it did not live up to my expectations. It's more like a documentary about a model's life and all other HOO HAH!!if you are a guy and thinking about getting it, forget it. if you are a girl and always wanted to be a model, I guess it would be of some use.Trust me, don't learn the hard way......."

"This DVD is just whati**ays, all 5 late nineties Swimsuit video editions in one collection. These are the same editions as shown on TV each season. All your favorites are here Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Rachel Hunter, Kathy Ireland, Angie Everhart, Laetitia Casta, Eva Herzigova, Daniella Pestova, Niki Taylor, Rebecca Romjin, Cheryl Tiegs, etc. I wish they had added some DVD extras to the original broadcasts but the Swimsuit video was still in its infancy when these were made so it's understandable. For anyone who has been a fan of the swimsuit videos since their inception this is a great edition to your collection. "

"Great Model, Great act..!! Be honest, Heidi Klum is my favourite model...she is lovely, cute, sexy, gorgeous,...Also, this issue includes many other beautiful models & the 'paint swimsuit' you never seen before...anyway, get one for your DVD, and get one for yor 'Private Collection'...I did it!!"

"Those involved in the making of the film `Modigliani' should be exceedingly proud of this amazingly beautiful and poignant tribute to Modigliani the artist, for truly art and biography have never been so magically blended as accomplished here. I was spellbound from the opening scene of Jeanne Hebuterne's (Elsa Zylberstein) enchanting face staring into the camera to the ending with Amedeo Modigliani (Andy Garcia) dancing around the statue of Balzac on a snowy winters night. Like a poem, it ends and you are left filled with emotion and lost in profundity. `Modigliani' is truly a masterpiece in every sense of the word. This is a film that belongs in any serious DVD collection. Purchase the CD too, the music is magnificent. My Highest Recommendation!"

Modigliani

"'Modigliani' (2004) is a self-indulgent, pretentious and largely fictional portrait of a tragic artist. Writer-director Mick Davis goes overboard on the symbolism while revealing precious little about the man and his work. Ironically, the viewer has a better understanding of Pablo Picasso than Amedeo Modigliani. Despite his boundless enthusiasm, Andy Garcia is simply too old for the title role. An irritating fiasco that deserved its straight-to-video fate."

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 1999

"I thought the video would be more tantalizing than the print issue. WRONG!! Yes, there are the beautiful models in the swim suits, along with the inane dialogue as they tell about what it was like. The body paint segment shows the women, obstacles strategically placed in front of revealing parts, just slightly out of focus or at a distance. Do not buy this tape if you're expecting something 'hot'. Only buy the tape if you are desparate to see their backs in thong bikinis. Don't expect to see nudity."
