"David Duchovny took his time off from The X-Files to star in this far fetched thriller where he plays a disgraced surgeon who is recruited by a wealthy criminal (Timothy Hutton) to perform meatball surgeries on his wounded henchmen. The plot, character development, and directing aren't anything sophisticated and are far from being anything special, but Playing God kind of works thanks to excellent performances from Duchovny, Hutton (in his best role next to The Dark Half), a pre-fame Angelina Jolie, Peter Storemare, and CSI's Gary Dourdan. Check it out if your a fan of Duchovny, just don't take it too seriously."

"This series of 'weird' films is very hit and miss and this is unfortunately the latter. I can't even remember whati** about but I can advise against buying it.Probably not the best review you've read but if I had read this I would have saved myself a few dollars and that's good enough for me."

'Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man' is a funny entertainment and nothing else. It's a fine resemblance of a comic for adults. There is black humor and no sense situations but blended with delirious action. A couple of odd job men, decide in order to protect his pal, who is seriously threaten with a big amount of money; if not his Rock and Roll pub will be closed. They will plan a simple heist to pay such amount, but for those intersections of the random, they will steal the money to a gang that deals with crystal blue.
Please try to watch carefully the hidden homage to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, when the jump from the 20th floor to a swimming pool.
If you let your neurons rest, you will have a good fun; but please, don' t search under the magic carpet.

"Mix 'Terminator', 'Pitch Black', and 'Silence of the Lambs' and what have you got? 'Hardware'. This movie is not only a great SciFi movie, but an excellent thriller as well. Fans of other genres should enjoy this one. It offers a good deal more than a futuristic society on the brink of destruction. The unusual character personalities and the psychotic nature of the machines takes it a notch above many movies it is sometimes compared to. The camera work and visual effects are excellent. A great soundtrack makes it all the better. I recall when I saw it I thought Iggy Pop's was incredible. The story takes time to evolve but what starts out at a 'Mad Max' level rapidly evolves to 'Road Warrior' status. I highly recommend it to SciFi fans and non-fans alike."
