Beyond the Law
"As someone who was an extra in this movie it was a very well told story. Michael madsen and charlie sheen were real nice and very into the movie. We shot scenes in scotsdale arizona in the desert. The original title of the movie was 'chasing the shadow' which after viewing the movie would have made sence. As an abused child charlie takes the law into his own hands and years later finds himself in the same situation. We know he was chasing a shadow from his past, but did he go beyond the law. Thats the great part about this movie they let you decide. I spent two years with my own live motorcycle show on harley-davidsons and can now appriciate the work that really goes into movies. Thanks for listening."

Vision Quest
"I'm really hoping that they re-release this movie soon. In terms of the Rocky-esque movies, this is one of the better ones. I liked it even better the second time around because I noticed just how realistic Modine's performance is not only as a wrestler, but also as a highschooler. The problem with the DVD is that (1) the transfer is positively awful, (2)it's standard as opposed to widescreen (not a big issue in this case), and (3) there are no features. The main problem, of course, is with the quality of the transfer, which probably looks better on some VHS versions of the film.Re-release this into a more non-hurried DVD format and this rating will go from 3 stars to at least 4."

Men in Black
"Based on the comic book of the same name, these guys keep the aliens living among us under wraps. A lot of tongue-in-cheek humor and a new way of looking at a multitude of aliens , good and evil, small and large. Will Smith makes the movie entertaining and the special effects quality and originality will keep you from blinking. Fun gadgets will also intrigue the sci-fi afficianado. This full-featured DVD is well-worth the money, especially with the multi-angle shots. I've already seen this on tape a number of times and I'm anxious to get this limited edtion DVD edtion. There is some language, but not much beyond what you'd see on prime-time TV nowadays. Very enjoyable and entertaining."

Beyond the Law
"And before he completely lost it. But, this is by far the most realistic biker movie I've ever seen. Charlie plays a real life undercover cop with issues that infiltrates a top gang run very effectively by Michael Madsen, minus the obligatory hair and tatts. Charlie's descent into a self-imposed hell is a real treat for fans. ... Hard to believe this is a true story."

After Hours
"I remember seeing this movie on cable in 1987, and I remember thinking that it was great. I didn't even realize it was Scorsese at the time. Since then this film has become one of my favorites. A relatively unknown actor, Griffin Dunne, is the lead character of this midnight movie. It's basically the night in the life of your average pencil pusher. What happens to him in one night is hilarious. A dark comedy by Scorsese this is bound to be, and already is a classic. Most people haven't seen this film, but I think it's a must have for any movie collector. Unfortunately, it's still not available at this time on DVD. Soon, I hope. Look for great eccentric appearances by Rosanna Arquette, Teri Garr, John Heard and Cheech and Chong (their last film appearance together)."
