"Apparently the writer below thinks that he can outbox Kari Wuhrer. After all, it is his fantasy. Thumbs down on violence to women." - Go to picture >>

"Higher Learning is a thinly veiled attempt to inject the audience with Singleton's opinions and values. From the first frame to the last, it feels more like a preachy ABC Afternoon Special than a feature film. Despite the slick veneer of a fine cast, Singleton once again reveals himself to be the main attraction, an angry director trying to promote his bitter social agenda. Without a doubt, HL pales in comparison to his first movie, 'Boyz n the Hood'."
"I love these amature mystery sleuth movies. There's nothing complicated about this one in particular, which makes it perfect for a cold and rainy day (with lots of popcorn and butter!)
Great movie!"
"Hellraiser: Deader continues to take the franchise in the direction that Hellseeker did, with a darker tale of morality that Clive Barker had intended for the series. Strong story, strong visuals, strong cast. One of the best horror movies to come out this year.
The scare filled plot is full of twists and turns while continuing to expand on Barker's mythology with some nice inside winks to longtime fans.
True Hellraiser fans will put this in their top three along with Hellraiser and Hellbound followed closely by Hellseeker.
Fans of the cheesier Hellraiser 3 & 4 may be dissappointed in less Pinhead, but less definitely is more in this latest installment given 3 out of four stars from Fangoria Magazine."
"This movie is a great piece of propaganda. It has very little substance and the plot is transparent and shows the ignorance of John Singleton. Basically the movie displays blacks as wonderful and whites as evil. The movie is your typical hollywood hate propaganda against whites. John singleton lost all credibility with this movie."
"'Forsaken' is the sequel to the film 'Prophecy - Uprising', continuing the story of Angels and the Devil fighting of a magic book that foretells the future.
I recommend Uprising which has a good plot and is a very well put together film. Forsaken is not as good but you could do alot worse ('Crossbones' anyone?). The main problems: Kari Wuhrur bad acting - she has too many lines in this film. Also, Jason Scott Lee's throw away character (I'm sure he'll get a bigger role in the next film). The good points: I like Tony Todd, his performance was good and the Doug Bradley's performance was good as well.
This film is worth seeing, I would wait for part 6 and then watch all three Prophecy sequels together."
