"This is one of my favorite college movies. The script was sensitive and thoughtful. Andrew Fleming brought out some great performances in his three lead characters. By far one of the most under-rated movies around. This theme in particular needs to be explored by mainstream Hollywood more often. I was delighted that it was 2 guys and 1 girl."

"The film itself is hilariously funny, for those who have an open mind and heart on the subject of body functions. however -- beware! this dvd boasts as one of its 'special features' the fact thati** a full screen version, not a letterboxed version. i doubt there will ever be another dvd edition, so pick it up, anyway. the film wasn't shot in 'scope, so it's hard to tell how much you're missing -- either you're losing a small amount from the sides, or you're actually gaining a little on the top and bottom. anyway, a five-star feature goes down to four because of the unwise choice of a 'full screen' presentation."

"I've never seen so many intellectual type reviews from people who were so obviously born without a sense of humour. For heavens sake, whether it follows the book, or not, this is a hillarious movie by most standards. Unfortunately, some people choose to take these things too seriously, and base their judgements upon things which don't concern the average person: who seeks entertainment and a laugh. This is a comedy - not a boring drama! - and once you accept the facti** a great film!"

"Thank you amazon for brightening the beginning of my new year with this good news. twin peaks fans rejoice!!! now we can see: 'the pine weasel riot', 'josie's wooden handle face', 'cooper's toothpaste', 'windom earl's marksmanship' & 'gordon cole's counter-esperanto' in crisp clean clarity! like a fine wine, the 2nd season gets better with age, and peaks fans feel like they've waited 2 lifetimes for it. peaks fans, happy new year! peaks-newbies...what are you waiting for?!? watch the pilot first and then spend the next few weeks/months glued to the show & cursing it for haunting your dreams and causing you to day dream uncontrollably. hot d*mn that pie's good!!!"

"Nothing more needs to be said about how excellent this film is. however, if you get the dvd, it is one of the worst quality transfers ever...there is so much pixelization and artifacting that people's heads actually pulsate and change in some of the close-ups. unwatchable. trimark should be ashamed to release such a travesty. are all of their dvd's so cheaply made? buy the vhs instead."
