"Fictional films have never captured the hilariousness of the industry like this one does. Linda Evangelista especially stands out. She played the 'supermodel' to the hilt. You could see what made her such an effective model; she really knew how to come up with a persona for the camera. Polly M. is incredible character too and the appearance by Eartha Kitt is unforgettable. When it comes to the fashion industry and the movies, fact is stranger (and funnier) than fiction."
"Every andy sidaris film is a suspense film, the suspense is how long it will take the girls in his movie to strip down. It takes about 5 minutes in this one. The movie is based on a redneck detective named cody ablilene who is trying to solve a murder and gets caught up in international espionage. sybil danning, the queen of the b-movies, is the highlight of this movie. she steals the show. Too bad she was not the main character!"
"Laura Mars (Faye Dunaway) is an artist with a unique vision. She stages crime scenes for her unique photography. She has quit an imagination. Or does she? Visiting her gallery is John Neville (Tommy Lee Jones) a police authority. He recognizes her pictures as unpublished actual crimes.
We must get to the bottom of this. And of course as with all mysteries it is the last person you would suspect. (Sure)
John Neville, whispering 'It's terrifying.'
Laura, 'Yes.'
John Neville:, whispering 'It's beautiful.'
Laura, 'Yes.'

"I was suprised by this movie. Most of the exposure that I have had to Zelman King was through Red Shoe Diaries, so because of that I was expecting mostly mild titalation with some decent excuse for a plot. What I found in this film was something I never expected. Instead of sex and steamy dialogue (which there is some) you are instead given a somewhat confusing, yet suprisingly interesting plot. Most of the actors do really well with their parts (although at times two of the actresses totally bomb off the screen). I would recomend this to anyone who enjoys pulp type cinema, because this has all the makings of a Jackie Collins novel. *Although not rated this would probably get an R rating."
