"Why? Does the writer below think that he can handlke her if she fights back or does he plan on having help? It's his fantasy. Thumbs down on violence to women." - Go to picture >>
"A great movie for those who did follow the comics and those who did not. The actors did well taking on the personalities of the characters. Worth adding to your collection."
"Same transfer.. No extended cut as expected. If you own the original, why bother to upgrade to 1.5? If you don't own it already, it's an easy purchase. 'Nuff said,' as Stan Lee would say."
" The image has a soft grain throughout. This disc is put out by Lionsgate and they didn't put an uncompressed PCM sound track on it; so the sound is the same as the DVD. Both of the Lionsgate Blu-Ray discs I have (this and Terminator 2) have a stutter when the image pans like frames are being dropped! I've told Samsung (I have a BD-P1000) and they are looking into it. I have not seen the problem with any of my Sony discs. I see no point in buying this Blu-Ray disc; the DVD is probably just as good or better (I don't have the DVD)."
"From the pages of Stan Lee's legendary comic book series is the motion picture Event 'X-MEN' the team of mutant superheroes who protect those who fear them. One of the Greatest Superheroe movies of all time, extrodonary, fantastic with spectacular visual effects. One of the Best films of 2000. Starring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Halle Berry as Storm, Patrick Stewart as Professser X, James Marsden as Cyclops and Famkee Jamenson as Jean Grey. X-Men becomes a trilogy with the release of X-Men: the Last Stand. 'Are you sure your on the right side'"
"The collector's edition was a let down to say the least. All they did was take a regular widescreen x-men the last stand in the regular dvd case and put it in some nicer packaging and throw in a comic book and charge you about $10.00 dollars more. You are better off just getting the regular version and save yourself about $10.00 dollars. I would think if you are putting out a collector's edition you would think it would be a 2 disc set , especially for the price. I was not impressed at all!!!!! 1 star for a bad collector's edition , 3.5 stars for the movie."
"5 stars for X-Men the movie but 0 stars for X-Men 1.5 the DVD. Why were these bonuses not featured on the first release of the X-Men DVD? I bought the movie once. I'm not going to buy it all over again just to see some deleted footage I probably already saw anyway. Besides, there are reasons why these scenes were cut from the movie. Meaning they are not worth the $17-$25 you will spend on this re-release. And behind the scene footage is usually very boring anyway. My advice is to wait for X-Men 2 but don't buy it when it comes out on DVD. Wait until X-Men 3 is about to come out. They will release X-Men 2 1.5 with all the stuff the su**ers didn't get the first time it was released."
