"I love this movie! It's charming, fun, and actually has a decent message behind all the special effects.In response to people who were less than complimentary:1. I am not the normal demographic for the film (my own high school days being far behind me).2. Don't confuse Wicca and Witchcraft.3. This is a Hollywood movie and a horror/comedy to boot. Are we holding it to higher standards than, say, 'Big Trouble In Little China'?4. If you don't think witchcraft is real, see number three.5. If you think your religion was smeared or degraded, see number three.6. If this isn't what 'real' witches do, see number three."

"There's just something about this film that makes us watch it over and over again -- discussing, analyzing endlessly. Put it away for a while, but there you are again making new friends watch it so you can hear their comments as well. This is a film that definitely deserves a place in your collection. But, beware... You may also find yourself wondering: What IS IT about this movie?"

"Great acting, wonderful plot, and excellent special effects. Four teen girls at a school get into witchcraft innocently enough before all goes astray. Suspensful and thrilling, wonderful for anyone who wants to get a chill. And note to all Wiccans: The girls in this movie never claimed to be Wiccans. Not all Witches are Wiccan. Television and movies are not supposed to be about real life. Just ask any doctor or nurse how 'accurate' ER portrays them or a teacher how 'realistically' Bostom Public portrays them. They will tell you it does not. Movies and television are not supposed to be about accuracy, but entertainment, and this movie certainly delivers."

Almost Famous - The Director's Cut

"This review pertains to the almost famous untitled - the bootleg cut (director's edition) which is another example of studio executives taking advantage of loyal customers by coming out with yet another dvd version to su** the very last penny out of those same fans who made the film successful to begin with! i am so tired of this marketing strategy bs! one star! don't buy it! wait till the 'almost famous - expanded edition' or the 'almost famous - criterion edition' or the 'almost famous - platinum edition containing a commentary with cameron crowe's sister-in-law!'"

The Worst Witch

"Ever since I was a little kid, I've loved this movie. I would look forward to Halloween, because I knew that 'The Worst Witch' would be on TV. Now that I'm 20 years old it's still my favorite Halloween movie, and it's not just me. My roommate also loves this movie, so she and I bought a copy and watch it all year round. Our favorite part is still when The Grand Wizard does his little song and dance. Also when Mildred turns Ethel Hallow into a pig! I would highly recomend this movie to anyone whether they're 6 or 96."
