"I have to disagree with the reviewer who says this video isn't good for little kids. My daughter LOVES this video and has since she got it for her first birthday. She wants to watch it over and over. Her 4 year old cousin wants to watch it whenever he comes to visiti** fun enough that you don't mind watching it over and over again. John Stewart and David Alan Grier are hilarious and the music is great. The only part that I don't particularly care for is Rosie O'Donnell, but that's just because I don't like her.Buy it for your kids. You won't be disappointed"
"Regardless of what you may think of the movie (I enjoyed it), this DVD does not belong in anyone's collection. Disney has greatly abused the ability to lock-out control of the DVD player during the beginning of the disk, *forcing* you to sit through several previews and an ad. Shame! Ordinarily I'm a big fan of previews, and I don't even mind ads, but keep them in the bonus section where they belong! I won't buy another Disney movie on DVD while this disrespectful practice continues. I'm surprised more people didn't mention it here - I can only assume you've been watching the tape."
"Comparing tyhis edition, to the older one, I see very little difference, other than a gift certificate: They pretty much just changed the box design. If you know you will be spending $10 at Starbucks within a few months of this DVD's release, then perhaps you might want to buy it; otherwise, it is far cheaper to get the 'collector's edition', which has all of the same big features as this one. You can find it pretty cheaply on Amazon still, and it is pretty common to find it in the low-priced selections of a lot of other stores as well."
"After publicizing this release as a 2 disc set, disney finally changed its mind and released it as a barebones single disc. Those who were waiting to get all those great behind the scenes stuff available previously on 'tarzan 2 disc collector's edition' will be thoroughly disappointed with this release.
However, those who missed out on previous 2 disc collector's edition and want to own tarzan on a two disc set, still have the option of buying it from amazon.co.uk, where it has been released as a 2 disc special edition with all those behind the scenes stuff from previous collector's edition.
Dont buy this unless you just want to own the film. Better still search for the old collector's edition. It will be worth all the money spent."
"I am absolutely thrilled to see this great 80's sitcom being released on dvd! Nell Carter was hilarious, as well as her supporting cast, which is quite rare these days. It's been so long since I've seen this show in syndication, I don't even remember alot of episodes in detail. However, I'm hoping the episode when Nell is reunited with her former girl group that dumped her(Special Guest Stars 'The Pointer Sisters')is from the first season because it was truly funny!!!
I just hope Universal does'nt take too long for future releases of this funny sitcom, because I know I'm going to watch season one pretty quickly, considering I have not seen this show since skip was a pup!!! Nell Carter I know you are keeping them laughing in heaven!!!"
"I am so glad that Universal is finally releasing 'Gimme a Break'! I don't understand y it says just 'season one' instead of 'Complete First Season' like 'Charles is Charge' says, which is another Universal release?! Some extras announced for 'GaB' are: Bonus episode of 'GaB' from season 2, episode of 'Charles in Charge', & an epiosode of 'Kate & Allie'. Also an 80's retrospective: 'the great 80's TV Flashback'. I would have preferred some bloopers or new interviews with the surviving cast members. But I will be so glad to get it on DVD since no channel is currently running this funny show!! 5 Stars for the show, 4 for the DVD seti** bonus features!"
