"Once again, we're stuck with a full screen version of a movie that deserved better then what it got. As with 'The Shadow', this is a decent little movie. It's not going to win any awards but it will certainly keep you entertained. Nice premise and decent Van Damme presence (I don't want to call it 'acting'), but once again the studio decides to go on the cheap and not even give us a decent letterboxed version."

"This movie has some of the worst acting, a really thin plot, and a cheesy soundtrack. In other words, it's a great movie. Whati**eems like a contradiction, buti** the cheesiness which makes this so fun to watch. Hardly any of the actors (especially Van Damme) can speak proper English.In this movie, Van Damme plays Frank Dux, a military officer with super martial arts skills. In his childhood, he learns karake from a Japanese master. Now Dux has to enter a fighting competition called the Kumite to uphold the honor of his master. That's basically the whole plot. My favorite part is the flashback to Dux's childhood where he is played by a boy with the weakest sounding French accenti** a real must see. If you love cheesy movies, you really have to own this one."

"This is the best jean-claude van damme movie ever. From family to fighting to family, jcvd fights for money to help his brother's wife and daughter out. And at the end, jcvd fights a big guy where there is no rules, but hard-hitting action. Have people placed the wrong bet? watch it and find out. The movie has the action and a great powerful movie score which makes this the best van damme movie ever. I wish i could own this on dvd, but australia and new zealand aren't releasing it on region 4. Only if they did."

"In this madcap caper comedy, Elvis Presley plays a singing, swinging, lothario being chased across Europe by adoring mini-skirted lovelies and some VERY inept jewel thieves. Complicating matters even further is a nasty subplot involving an unscrupulous uncle's attempt to 'off' his own neice and claim her inheritance for himself! But as always, the big attraction here are the songs, which include 'I Love Only One Girl,' the obligatory catchy title tune, and, best of all, Presley's masterful reading of 'Old Macdonald.' Put this on your shelf next to the best of Chaplin, Sellers, and Allen; u won't be disappointed you did."
