"I went into the movie with low expectations - just wanted tokill 2 hours plus see some martial arts (Jet Li number one!). I waspleasently surprised! I saw critics panning the story and complaining how complex the plot was. I liked the story and could follow the plot easily. It had a good story line and great martial arts action! Some of the editing of the fights was too much. Better to just let Jet do his thing and film it. The fighting scene with the fire hose was the best!If you like gang/mob wars/martial arts go and see the movie. You won't be disappointed! Good music too!"

"Bash the National Rifle Association 'poster' in thepolice station, then have every criminal and cop in the movie shootoff a few thousand rounds. Actually, a good action movie if you don't have to think too closely about the realism and Jett is terrific as the bad guy, but leave the Second Amendment alone!"

" War is one of the best movies of it's kind. It has action, adventure, suspense, plot twists, violence, blood, great martial art fighters BUT most of all it has a great (as always) JET LI who is bruce lee successor in my humble opinion. If u liked romeo must die, kiss of the dragon, hero, unleased and fearless then don't rent this dvd. BUY IT. "

"I first saw this movie with the original soundtrack and with subtitles. I much prefered this, as in my opinion, dubbing sounds ridiculous and ruins the atmosphere in any movie. Its fair enough if some people prefer dubbing, but with todays DVD technology, it is perfectly possible to provide both.The producers of this movie, to my great disappointed, failed to do this, and ruined a great movie in the process. I don't understand this, because as far as I can tell, it would be cheaper not to pay actors to dub the movie. In any case they could have provided both. And they definitely should have left the music alone."
