"Richie rich is a very good movie, despite the low-box office sales. It's a great movie for both kids and parents to enjoy, though typically, kids would probably enjoy this more. Child-star (at the time this film was made) macaulay culkin plays richie rich, the son of the wealthiest man in the world. Since richie is so wealthy, everybody thinks he has everything. But one thing he doesn't have is real friends. It's a comedy with lots of laughs and excitement. A perfect family film for a restful evening. Go and see it today!"
"I received Season 1 last week. I love it! I never missed this show when it was in Prime time and still watch reruns almost daily on tv. Now Season One is finally on DVD. Thia is one of the best Series out there. You have suspense, law, romance, friendship, triumph and tragedy. What more could one ask for? I hope it does not take long for the other Seasons of The Practice to come out on DVD. Fans have waited long enough. Get us the rest of the Seasons please!"
"As pointed out before, this is volume 1 not season 1 as written in error by amazon. This means you're not getting ripped off...if you check wikipedia it says you're also getting the first 7 episodes of season 2 with this..."
"This movie is aimed straight at the junior high and under crowd even though it's rated R.
My roommate and I sat through the whole movie without a single laugh. The 'jokes' are undescribably lame. If someone says the word sex and you start giggling and looking around nervously then you might find this funny.
Aside from the lack of any humor, there is also the fact that they are just showing random clips of penguins 95% of the time. They could have made this an audio cd without hurting the movie, and in fact it would have made it better because if you imagine penguins talking and having personalities there mouths would move and they wouldn't just be stock footage clips of penguins standing around.
Don't waste 80 minutes of your life on this."
"As some others have said, 'My Science Project' is pure 80s absurdity - but that doesn't make it a bad thing. With surprisingly high production values and a premise that was every misfit's high school dream (as in saving the day, getting the girl, and winning the respect of your peers), it's hard for an 80s-born nerd such as myself NOT to enjoy it. Since I was a kid I've always had a soft spot for this cheesy flick, and it hasn't changed with time. It may be too campy for much of today's audience, buti** jam-packed with that nostalgic 80s flavor and some really fun moments."
"The movie is full of twists and turns, in fact just two minutes before the end there is another twist. This is the beauty of this film. While watching this movie, whenever you try to believe something, it turns out opposite and only to find later that it was not correct either. This one is definitely not the typical war movie. It's not the actions, but the script that keeps the audience riveted throughout the movie, and critics will have a hard time in pointing out for a moment that was boring in the entire run.
John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson were average. I mean their performance was as good as any of their other movies. However, the real credit in acting will go to Connie Nielsen. If you have liked the movie 'A few Good Men', you will like this movie too. Highly recommended.
