The Faculty

"There's nothing to reccomend about the faculty. And surprisingly from the director of from dusk til dawn and desperado it's very tame stuff. There isn't much gore, the rebellion factor is shockingly low (this is important in a movie like this) and the story is never fully developed and isn't up to much. The only thing that is good about this movie is josh hartnett. I think he is a very good actor and he should have been given more screen time.all you get on this non-anamporphic dvd is a trailer, dolby 5.1 and a letterboxed picture framed at 1.82:1."

Black Hawk Down

"My advice to everyone who is planning on buying the DVD release of Black Hawk Down. Wait a little while longer. This release has next to NO extra features on it. Also, Ridley Scott is planning on puting together a special edition version of it-packed with loads of extras that will be a fine edition to this awesome film. Just be patient and it will pay off."

Black Hawk Down

"I had high expectations for the Blue-ray version of this excellent movie, but I was disappointed as the picture quality was merely slightly better than the DVD version. In my first viewing I could not even tell the difference between this version and the regular DVD version that was released years ago. I cannot comment on the audio side as I am yet to test it on a 5.1 audio setup. I'd only recommend buying this disc only if you don't own the DVD version already. My HD set is 1080i if you are wondering. "

Pearl Harbor

"This film still looks impressive after five years just for its recreation of the actual attack on Pearl Harbor. In the face of historical liberties and inaccuracies in events depicted and the overall scripting this film still gets its point across. The devastation and loss of life at the hands of the unprovoked Japanese attack is mesmerizing and heartbreaking to watch. This is a very good looking copy of the film."
