Primal Fear

"Primal fear is one of those rare movies that improves with age. not that it wasn't a fine film when released: the complexities of the story took front seat as well they should. after not having to figure out how the interplay is going to work, it is a pleasure to sit and just respect the fine casting, writing, directing, editing and acting. richard gere once again proves he is a taut actor, laura linney gives an oscar worthy performance, of course edward norton is a tour de force performance, but the joys come in the cameos by andre braugher, frances mcdormand, alfre woodward, steve bauer, john seda, etc. this is fine ensemble playing in a beautifully photographed and scored thriller. see it again!"

Pretty Woman

"For anyone who simply wants to know if this is the original theatrical version, like myself--it's noti** the same as the 10th Anniversary Edition, with the stuff from the cutting room floor thrown back into the movie, instead of in Bonus Features where it belongs. I'm so thankful I still have the oringinal release that I love on video. "

Days of Heaven - Criterion Collection

"Days of Heaven is one of the greatest masterpieces cinema has ever seen. From the cinematography to the pure lyrical nature of the story, this is an unforgettable film. Often cited as the most visually stunning film ever created, it is a suprise that it took Criterion this long to get the rights to distribute it. This is not a typical narrative. This is a Terrence Malick film, so expect it to be slow, moving, and poetic. It is not a plot driven film, it is a mosaic comprised of components such as nature shots, unreliable inner poetic narration, music, sounds of nature, etc. Malick is unique and wonderful, and cannot wait to see Criterion's restored version."

Runaway Bride

"This is such a great movie! Okay, now, I guess I am a little partial because I do adore romantic comedies. Runaway Bride has the most romantic ending I've ever seen in a movie (with the exception of An Affair to Remember, nobody can beat that). I absolutely loved it! I was even amazed at how clean the movie was compared to other Hollywood romantic trash. I'd buy this movie now and you can bet that as soon as that price drops, I'll be adding it to my collection!"

Runaway Bride

"Contrary to what some might say this movie is wonderfully romantic as well as well written. It may be predictable but the acting and the dialog make for a movie well worth your time to see. Unlike most movies today Runaway Bride, has no sex scenes or other trash Hollywood uses to get ratings. Good show for everyone!"
