"Brian Robbins portrayal of the common man floundering in the mud and misery of his making gives a dose of existentilism that would make Jean Paul Sartre proud. Robbins makes Waiting for Godot and No Exit look like superficial rubbish. The hidden meanings in phrases such as 'give me a good shake' can be directly linked, with the clarity one usially associates with the works of Beckett and Camus, to the plight of the Prolitariat in modern, corporate, America. Robbins also shows his unique grasp of the modern philosophical implications of mutidimentional string theory and quantum electrodinamics. When watching be sure to associate Good Burger with the dynamic, non-linear, corrdinate system that it is."
"I am truly going to enjoy this DVD as the Miami Heat culminate their season with a championship. When the 'Heat' were down 2-0 to the 'Mavs', I never lost hope. I had a 'gut' feeling that Senor Wade would recover from his illness and carry his team to the title. How sweet it was to watch a supposedly 'superior' team as the 'Mavs' (lead by Dirk and owner Cuban) lose to the 'Heat'. I can invision watching this DVD over and over. Go 'Heat' and sulk all you 'Mav' fans!"
"These dvds are very complete. They explain in thourough detail why they called it ''15 Strong''. The dvds included all of the Eastern Confrence Finals games and NBA Finals games. There are many Dwyane Wade fourth quarter heroics throughout this set. Also, the complete box includes the Miami Heat championship dvd. On that dvd, it tells you the history of the Miami Heat, like when they joined the league in 1988. This dvd is a must have for any heat fan and I am recommending it to basketball fans who like fourth quarter heroics!"
NBA Dynasty Series - Los Angeles Lakers - The Complete History
"This is a great collection of basketball games although I wish** had just a little about Kobe Bryant. This is definately not as entertaining as a Celtics Dynasty volume would be and even though i'm not a fan of either team I must say the description of the video where it says the Lakers won an unprecedented 14 NBA Championships... what about when the Celtics won 16? 16 Championships in 30 years!!!! The Lakers won 14 in 50! How are the Lakers a better team?"
"Heat fans, get ready! while the dvd is a bit brief, as in not including entire games, the dvd certainly delivers the excitement and insight into heat basketball. It cuts to the core of the heat's rise to the championship.
like most nba dvds, it focuses on the human level as well as showing great action, particularly once it gets into the playoffs. The only thing i wish was some more feedback from the other team's players and how they rate the heat.
the film includes a couple brief bios on some of the players, as well as the 4th quarter of game 6.
all in all, certainly worth it, but don't expect entire nba game coverage.
