30 Rock - Season 1

"This show only got better and better after a shaky start, incl. tepid reviews of Tina Fey's acting. But she found her feet and the ensemble cast (including Alec Baldwin - who knew he could play funny?, Tracy Morgan - finally breaking out from SNL second-string status to be a real standout, and Jack McBrayer - the real sleeper of the bunch, as Kenneth, the NBC page), and the show's writers, made for one very smart, funny season. I have to question, though, why this is going to be priced so high? Is NBC trying to make up for lost ad revenue from its year in the ratings cellar at the expense of the loyal viewers it had? Too bad - I'll have to wait for the price to come down, but at least this show will be worth the wait. "

Pearl Harbor

"I saw Pearl Harbor a few days ago at an early screenings and was blown away by it. The movie had the best trailer I've ever seen and the movie doesn't disappoint. The actual attack scenes are incredible. You know there had to be lots of CGI and special effects, but they're seamless and flawless. Not once does it ever look fake. I think teens, college students, adults, seniors and veterans are going to be very very happy with this flick. I was, and can't wait to go see it again. It MUST be seen on a big movie screen. Do NOT wait for it to be on video or DVD."

The Good Shepherd

"I saw this movie in the theaters when it was out and really enjoyed it. I always like Matt Damon in this type of role and all though Angelina Jolie's was a small role she did it beautifully. Matt Damon always seems to get himself stuck in some kind of conspiracy and has to fight his way out. It is the type of role besides Ocean's Eleven Comedies that he has been born for. I would recommend renting this flick."

"This is not a new edition of the movie, the only difference is the case is a standard DVD case instead of the cardboard snap kind."

Pearl Harbor

"Judge this film for its well intentioned efforts. When imperial japanese aggression leads up to the attack on pear harbor the world changed. This film which contains several historical inaccuracies and misconceptions and a protracted love triangle somehow manages to enthrall the viewer and capture the feel of that moment. Lives were lost and changed and america never looked backward taking up the challenge. Slow moving and not exactly methodically paced pearl harbor manages to convey these events on an epic scale. This film has meant so many things to so many people it is hard to judge it too harshly. "
