"How could anyone not enjoy this movie.. What did they expect.. DOG DAY AFTERNOON! It is Hillarious from start to finish. Branden Fraser makes a great lead and Adam and Steve as brothers... What more could you ask for? The Supporting cast (especially Micheal Richards and Joe Mantegna) are Great and the music fits well. A damn-fine Comedy."
"Chris Farley plays the role of a clumsy ninja, ridiculous to the extent that I feel that it is an insult to ninjas. The movie is plain silly, not funny. This guy is worse than Jar-Jar Binks.Hard to imagine anybody could find this show funny. This is the worst comedy that I come across so far."
"I have the original VHS release of this title. It was a lot of fun and always made me laugh. Then I bought this DVD release, which I later found out is mysteriously missing seven minutes worth of footage. Some of my favorite scenes are cut. Now I'll have to go back and buy the previous DVD release. Why they can't release it completely the second time around is beyond me. But what's here is great, so you might want to buy it anyway."
"Black Sheep picks up right where Tommy Boy left off with the amazing comic pairing of Chris Farley and David Spade. This is another of the better movies to come from the cast of Saturday Night Live. I really miss seeing Farley and Spade together on film...
Most people I know place this movie second to Tommy Boy, which makes some sense, I suppose, but it has just as many laughs. The scenes with Farley and Spade together in the log cabin are priceless and hilarious. "
"This movie definately set the trend for at least 4 films that followed. it's a great comedy which doesn't stop at the punch line but goes the extra mile. tia carrene is certainly 'worthy'. and contributes big time to the comic aspect of this movie. if you like tia she does a great nude scene in showdown in little toyko (hot)."
"This is one of those movies that's so stupid, it's funny... There are a host of amusing characters that Joe Dirt encounters along his journey to find the white-trash parents who abandoned him in his youth. Joe Dirt learns from each of them, and vice versa - and there are funny moments all along.
It certainly doesn't compare all too well when held up to Spade's previous work with Chris Farley in Tommy Boy and Black Sheep, buti** got enough stupid humor to keep most comedy fans happy. I enjoyed this movie a great deal and I recommend it highly."
