FernGully - The Last Rainforest
"There are very few movies that we can watch more than once. Fern Gully is one of a handful of them, and it's great for the whole family! Wonderful catchy music, beautiful and clever animation, creative characters, classic lines, great voices, and a nice, relatively subtle environmental message. There are so many ridiculous movies out there for kids that have the same predictable plots. It's refreshing to have a movie like this come along. I can't wait to get it on DVD!"

FernGully - The Last Rainforest
"I've remembered and loved this movie for years. It's got great a message for both kids and adults. Robin William's character is hilarious and unforgettable. Definetly watch. The music numbers and the final scene make it all the worthwhile."

The Name of the Rose
"Yes i am writing this review prior to the release of this dvd. If lack of information is any indicator, i am incensed that this film would be released in a format that does not reflect how it was shot. It looks like another release i've been waiting for (map of the human heart) also is not widescreen. The idiots (obviously not film fans) who make these decisions should be hung! it is an affront to every cinematographer to butcher films in this manner. If museums decided to crop works of art there would be such a public outrage that would drown out the ceos of the studios for good. Shame on them!"

Young Guns II
"Western films have slowly deterierated in quality since the passing and changing of certain actors souch as John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. It is good to see a western that captures the same hearts as did earlier westerns. We need more movies like this one."

FernGully - The Last Rainforest
"Set in Australia, a magical rainforest named ' Ferngully' is occupied by many fairies and animals alike but is in danger. Humans are tearing it down, they also accidently unleash a evil spirit called ' Hexxus' who plans on destroying the forest. A beautiful fairy named ' Crysta' finds a good hearted human and shrinks him down to human size so that he can help her save the rainforest.A very entertaining, magical and good hearted animated movie with good humor, cool animation and a message about saving the rainforests. The voice acting is also superb such as Tim Curry, Robin Williams, Christian Slater, Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, Tone Loc, Samantha Matahas and Jonathan Ward."

The Name of the Rose
"This movie contains one lovemaking scene. Mainly, however, it's a story about hideous murders. A previous reviewer, one with 'moral standards' who wished s/he'd 'been warned' about the nudity was probably prepared to exhibit a series of gristly killings for the little ones, but was shocked to have them view equipment which is part of the anatomy of every human being. In other words, it's preferable, for example, to watch some guy stick a knife in someone's brain (Scream 2, first murder scene, aired uncut on broadcast TV at 8 p.m. last month), than to catch a glimpse of a woman's br****, at which we all have su**led. Welcome to Red America."
