"I watch this one over and over! I never saw An Affair to Remember; and I've outgrown old movies, so I really appreciate Love Affair. When I first saw this movie, I didn't even know Beatty and Bening were married... the chemistry was obvious. I love both of them in this one. The scenes from Tahiti are beautiful... I'm going there! If you like tear-jerkers and happy endings, this is a true love story and worth keeping in your video library."
"Hi..
I don't get why so many people didn't like this movie, and why is there all those negative reviews about the film ?
This film is just great, it has an interesting plot, great acting by all the stars and a good ending.
So don't you guys pay any attention to those negative reviews, this movie has it all.
I personally think that this is one of connery's best movies with an amazing performance by all especially connery !
And the scene where connery's character interviews Harris's character is one of my favourite scenes, quit memorable and thrilling !
This is a must BUY movie and is highly recommended !"
"I was loving this movie until, half-way through, the disc started to jam. I tried it on another player... and no dice. I complained to Amazon... who was kind enough to send me another one... and now I have two discs with the same problem.
I already tried this disc on three players and they all start jamming in the middle of the film.
Beware!

"I have not seen the Cary Grant version so I had little to compare this predictable chickflick with. In fact the first 40 minutes or so can pretty much be skipped. I'd say the film even starts when Katherine Hepburn appears on the scene. She lends the movie its spine, the very reason our two protagonists come together, and the movie is a very decent romantic story from then on, with an occasional tinge of humor. Benning in particular is stunning with her understated rendition of a woman in emotional doldrums. A worthy rental overall, but not exactly a spectacular movie."
"This quirky romantic comedy is filled with surprises. The entire cast is wonderful and the small town seaside setting with all the entanglements of small town life makes this a fun movie.
I've watched this several times and never tire of the unique storylines of lost loves and the people who find happiness when they follow their hearts."
"A justly underrated Lumet vechicle, this by-the-numbers turkey explores the world of media interaction with politics during a political convention. Tries to capture the world of show business by looking at the race from different points of view from various politicians and throwing in some (mild) satirical moments, buti** pretentious, farfetched, and unintentionally funny."
