"Dear Sirs
Saw the programme yesterday which promted me to let you know if you are interested in Early photos of diana when she had dark hair as my father was in the film business. regards Patsy Pepe"
"Nice print and uncut. With all the big disappointment lately about the awful Fox cut version of 'Vault of Horror' (which preceeded this in the Amicus horror anthology series), this is a pleasant release to cheer us all up! Trailer in good shape too. Well done Warner!!!"
"While I bought this originally for the 'Swedish' side I found myself drawn to both movies. I was curious and ultimatly, quite satisfied with how the writers would 'modernize' such a plot line. Highly adequete in using shadow in the frame for a more dramatic presentation in what could most easily be described as a silly auction. Chelsea Mundae shines in her melodramatisism of a Madame au Noir. J.P. Fedele was fantastic as a classical(though modernized) 'greaser'. These movies are more along the lines of quasi-nilhist+erotica moreso than straight forward erotica. Watch, but watch out there is a story too."
"The cast alone makes this worth the price of admission, and what a cast! twelve of the greatest of british character actors grace this gory but delightful romp with vincent price in his usual fine form as a presumably dead shakespearean ham actor who one by one murders the critics who ruined his career. The joke is that he dispatches his victims by recreating death scenes from the shakespeare plays with the help of his equally deranged daughter, played with great skill by everyone's favorite avenger diana rigg. The entire cast is in fine form, including price's soon to be second wife coral browne who gets quite a 'shock' in this. If you enjoy price's work on film and if you especially enjoyed the dr phibes films, then theatre of blood will be right up your alley."
"I haven't seen them, but they are pretty good. 'Theatre Of Blood' is the movie to watch with those who have had bad reviews levied against them by snobby critics who are so foolish that they can't see beyond their own noses. By the way, I'd love it when I would reenact death scenes from Shakespearean tragedies to lure Simon Cowell and his gunes in, so that I can destroy them.
Julius Caesar: Simon Cowell stabbed to death on the Ides Of March.
Romeo And Juliet: Paula Abdul drowned in a vat of wine
Cymbeline: Fantasia Barino electricuted.
Revenge is so sweet. If you're looking for the movies to satisfy your lust for blood against the critics that scorned you, then this double feature Dvd is the one for you. Highly recommended."
"Terrible music that will unfortunately stick in your head for days, but Goldie and Peter are so witty, touching and hilarious in this movie, it's worth it. I especially enjoyed the scene where Peter's character helps Goldie's character move out of her boyfriend's flat...classic. Some great moments. (It might even make you cry - and not just because of the music!) Kind of an odd movie and probably an acquired taste, but I love to pull this one out every few years and watch it again."
