"Well, I must say that this is a pointless release. These aren't the older orginials, this is the same as the extremely good looking and sounding 2004 DVD box set minus the extras disc(which are totally different from the 1997 special editions, the 2004 versions have been fixed effectswise and storywise.) The lightsaber glitches HAVE been corrected, but I wish that Lucas wouldn't have said on the preview before the presentation on the final release of the orginial theatrical versions of these films 'Get these today- for the last time.' I really hoped they wouldn't have said this...."
"One, you are making any fan wh***ally wants the original theatrical releases buy yet another version of your 'special edition' versions which most fans already own.
two, for a compnay that prides itself on the best audio and video presentations, you are delivering a very substandard product for 2006.
three, have some pride in your work. Sure, these weren't finished to your liking when they came out. Technology will always improve and you could tweak your art until the end of your life but at some point, let it go and move on. But please allow these 'unfinished' versions at least to be experienced in the best way possible.

"This is a awesome movie, but these people are trying to rip you off!
This DVD is out-of-print because Universal is planning on releasing the 25th anniversary edition sometime this year. Wait for it, only and idiot would pay these fools.

"I've been watching 'Drop Dead Fred' for years and it's still one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Everybody does a good job acting and it has some of the funniest sequences of any movie ever. Phoebe Cates used to have an imaginary friend, but now she's grown up. All of a sudden he comes back and she's the only one that can see him. However, she is more mature now, so she tries to ignore him and even make him go away, but she realizes she still feels like a kid sometimes and wants her imaginary friend to stay around. 'Drop Dead Fred' is one of the best comedy films ever and you'll never get tired of watching iti** one of the few movies that will never get old. If you like comedy movies, this is one you can't miss."

"Folks, we have the technology now. If you can get your hands on copies of the old Widescreen VHS tapes or laserdiscs, you can make your own DVD copies for about $1. They will be the same quality that George is about to charge you $30 for. I have been a life-long SW fan, but in recent years Mr Lucas has shown his true colors. Wait to see if he ever releases a version you can't make yourself and then buy (although it will probably come packaged in such a way that you have to spend a lot more than it's worth to buy YET ANOTHER copy of his SE editions etc...)
