Stigmata
"This dvd features a gorgeous 2.35:1 widescreen transfer, capturing all of the films beauty. stigmata is probably the most gorgeously filmed movie ever, and the dvd edition is great. the added scenes are great, the alternate ending is very interesting, and the natalie imbruglia music video, for the truly haunting 'identify', is moody and luscious. for open-minded viewers, stigmata is a great pick. and for the record, it does not rip off the exorcist, as the exorcist did not invent 'possession signals', such as talking in a strange deeper voice, speaking different languages, or facial contortions; these have been documented phenomena in many true possession cases. just wanted to clear that up. Patricia arquette is brilliant."

America's Prince, J.F.K. Jr.
"I recorded it when it came on television. Well I like the insight into JFK Jr.'s personality or their version of it. However, their were scenes where they had these to bimbos and other jerks on the street commenting on his and his wife's life as if they knew him they could have kept that part out. "

Dead and Breakfast
"I caught this movie at a horror convention a few weeks ago. It quickly turned into a much in demand prize of the trivia contest being held at the Anchor Bay table every few hours. It's not every movie that features a Greek Chorus in the form a a country singer/gas station attendant. Horror movies with this feature are even fewer. The movie does emphasize humor over horror, but it isn't run of the mill chop-em-up slasher fare either. I was never scared (big surprise. I'm never scared of movies) But I was entertained. "

Sirens
"I love this film about Hugh Grant taking his very sexually uptight wife (the lovely Tara Fitzgerald) to this place of sexually open women. Lot of beautiful actresses naked in this one, but you are better off looking for the OOP Lion's Gate DVD rather than the Mirimax, as it's Full Screen and the nude scenes are much closer up! Especially the closing sequence where all the actresses in the film are on the mountain peak nude: if you watch the widescreen version, they are like ants on the screen and you can barely make their bodies out; the full screen version is much, much nicer!"

Who Is Cletis Tout?
"Told in a mix of narration and flashbacks, much like the Princess Bride or Forget Paris, this self-conscious genre sendup is part heist movie and part commentary on heist movies. The plot is engaging but script isn't nearly as clever as it pretends to be, plot holes abound, the twists are more flashy than intriguing, Tim Allen's character's constant movie-quoting eventually grates, and the shadows of Quentin Reservoir Dogs or The Usual Suspects stalk the entire theme. But for all its simpering in-jokes and posing, there's a sweetness to the film that's diverting and will likely keep you occupied for its length. Decent watch with a group of friends. "
