"1) The concert clocks in at only 60 minutes. Why were so many songs cut? This is a DVD! Give us at least 90 minutes worth of material.
2) It claims to also contain a documentary. It doesn't. It has a few minutes of clips of fans. That isn't a documentary.
Other than the above it is greati**hould be like a $9.99 DVD given its insufficiant usage of the space provided."
Come Together - A Night for John Lennon's Words and Music
"Tremendous and poignant night of music honoring John Lennon and, although not initially planned, New York City. This was one of the first major public events in NYC post 9/11 and in many ways it was fitting that a night of Lennon's words and music began the long healing process. John Lennon could have lived anywhere in the world and he chose NYC. What would he have done and/or said in NYC's darkest hour had he been alive? We can only imagine but there is no doubt, Lennon would have been in the forefront of the healing process, just as McCartney was with the Concert for NYC. Dave Matthews performs a griping acoustic version of IN MY LIFE and this is a great tribute with many cool versions of Beatle & solo Lennon material."
"to see Natalie Merchant perform live in an intimate setting. Too bad the version of 'carnival' doesn't show natalie dancing wildly like she normally does in all her concerts - great version of 'wonder' and a move-to-tears version of 'verdi cries'
natalie is truly a goddess - if you like her solo stuff and 10k stuff, buy this memorable dvd
not enough to give 5 stars because it was aired before her 2001 album, 'Motherland' - her best album by far.

"Natalie live and solo. Though not as entertaining as being in the audience for one of her high energy shows, this cd is the closest thing you can get pumping through your stereo system. If you like Natalie, you will love this cd. She puts a great spin on some old favorites. 'These Are Days' was redone and as upbeat as ever. Her re-make of David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' is one of the few renditions that actually does it justice. 'Gulf Of Araby' is not her own, but the way she performs it... she makes it hers! So if you want to hear Natalie live and tired of the second rate bootlegs that have been floating around for years, get this... NOW! and enjoy... =oÞ"
"If you love the classic 10,000 Maniacs song 'These Are Days', you have to find this import of her live album! Natalie has given the song a new arrangement and it's fun to listen to! The other songs are great but 'These Are Days' is the stand out!"
