"This movie definitely turned out to be better than expected. I'd just seen 'Waiting', which was decent, so I was interested to see what this Ryan Reynolds film would have to offer.
This movie had a much better storyline than did 'Waiting...' It was very refreshing to see Ryan Reynolds play a character that wasn't Van Wilder-esque. He gives a very funny performance as the fat-kid turned Hollywood man-about-town wh***turns home and reconnects with the girl who broke his heart in his youth.
The movie is funny right off the starting line and remains funny throughout.
Recommended."
"This one reminds me of Scary Movie 2. The first gag which has nothing to do with the rest of the movie is pretty funny, and the rest of the movie misses more than it hits. The movie starts off with a Shaq/Doctor Phil parody of Saw that is funny. After that, it is basically a crazy mesh of The Village, War of the Worlds, and the Grudge. Most of the jokes just aren't that funny or worse, they were just used in the last movie. For example we have another Michael Jackson appearence and we also have another child that it hit and run over by just about everything. The only difference is that it is a girl instead of a boy this time. This is an okay rental, but I think I will hold off buying. Watch the first and third Scary Movies for some real laughs."
"This is an incredible movie. I saw it in theatres the day it came out. I have my phone alarm set for the minute I get out of school on Febuary 7th (when it comes out on DVD) to go get it.
BUY IT"
