"Mike hit his peak here - I love Austin Powers, but 'So I Married...' is WAY better. It's just a very well written and acted comedy that will keep you laughing from start to finish.
'We've got a piper dooownnn', 'Hard hearted harbinger of haggis' and 'Head!!!...!'... the list of quoatable quotes goes on and on : - )
Buy this one, you'll watch it way more than once. "
"After Godfather I and II, Goodfellas has to be the best 'mob' movie out there. But I was disappointed in the DVD for one BIG reason. I had to flip the damn thing over halfway through the movie! I stayed away from laserdisc for this very reason. C'Mon Warner Brothers! There is no reaon that this couldn't have been created as a dual-layer DVD. I'd even spend a couple extra bucks for it."
"I will admit that I typically don't like mob movies, but this is one of the better ones I've seen. It presents a more lighthearted (for a mob movie) view into organized crime. De Niro is solid and Pesci plays his usual psycho violent mobster. But the real star is Liotta with his creepy yet charming smile, penetrating eyes, and goofy laugh. While the story is mostly entertaining, it is almost 2.5 hours long and drags in spots. The HD DVD transfer is quite good-among the best so far. While I won't be buying it, it is worth a rental from Netflix.

"Batman, the first film in this collection rocked! it was easily one of the better films of 1989 and showed a very gifted jack nicholson as the joker. Tim burton did a wonderful job with the first movie in setting the atitude and feel of the batman world. The second movie just got too depressing, though very good actors were involved. After that, in batman forever and batman and robin, the scripts and acting just get simply ridiculous. I wish they never made those last two batman films. They really [are bad]. And if they continue in that direction, you will not see this fan at the theatre for the next film."
"Unforgiven and X-Men were the 1st two Blu-Rays I've seen and the image quality was AMAZING. But Good Fellas doesn't look as good...it looks a little better than a DVD but not as good as the two aforementioned Blu-Rays I have. "
