The Lucy & Desi Collection

"I am so excited to have all three of Lucy and Desi's movies in one DVD. I have been an ardent fan of these two for as long as I can remember. They are as wonderful together on the big screen as they are on the small screen. The fact that they put up their own money to make the 'I Love Lucy' pilot and 'The Long Long Trailer' shows how well they knew their audience. Their comedic talent and mutual love just shines through in every scene of every movie, even though in 'Too Many Girls' Lucy and Desi did not end up together."

I Love Lucy: The Complete Series

"Frankly, I'm tired of this. We buy each season box as it comes out, and then the studio releases the entire series in one box with extras not available everywhere else. It's getting so that I'm about to stop buying each season and simply wait for the inevitable box set, but then we end up in the situation that Mary Tyler Moore is in, where the early seasons supposedly aren't selling well enough to release the final seasons on DVD!"

The I Love Lucy - 50th Anniversary Special

"I LOVE Lucy. 'I Love Lucy' is the greatest show ever, but this botched special celebrating the series' 50th anniversary was just bad. Who cares what Andy Garcia, Cher or Roseanne have to say? I would like to have seen more focus on William Frawley and Vivian Vance, whose on-screen chemistry with Ball and Arnaz really helped to make 'I Love Lucy' so funny. It goes to show you that the days of wonderfully funny shows like 'I Love Lucy' are long gone. Not one person in Hollywood today is talented enough to hold a candle to the producers and creators of 'Lucy' and this [bad] attempt at a two hour special to celebrate it is a mockery of the show's half century contribution to laughter."

The Long, Long Trailer

"There is actually 3 movies that Lucy and Desi made together and this is one of the three movies that were made. I would recommend buying the collecters edition 3/ movie pack that has all 3 movies, as it is also available for sale on Amazon as 'Lucy and Desi Collection,' and only costs about 5.00-10.00 more for the set. The movies include 'The Long Long Trailer' Forever Darling' and 'Too Many Girls,' all three are great romantic movies by Lucy and Desi and a must have for any Lucy fan. 'The Long Long Trailer' is definitely my favorite of the three movies the couple made because it is so funny and reminds me the most of The 'I Love Lucy' Show. This is definitely a must own dvd set!!!"

"I love Lucy, I really do... But I was disappointed by this DVD: I've purchased it to enjoy 'I Love Lucy' show and got a number of celebreties talking ABOUT Lucy instead...Bits and pieces, not a single full episode on a whole DVD. Do not buy it..."
