"a lot of cursing if your sensetive to that but the rest is so fuuny (especially the scooby doo part!) best lineJay (rapping)- 30 bucks little man, put that sh** in my hand!"
"Michael is a great movie but they ruined this dvd by releasing it in Full Screen only. I disapprove of releasing widescreen filmed movies in non widescreen"
"This is a great movie, and like all great movies, it should be available the way the director meant it to be seen, in WIDESCREEN. I don't know what the studios are thinking when they only release full screen editions, but soon or later everyone is going to own a rectangular screen, and wish they had widescreen movies. I won't buy this great feel good movie until it's released in widescreen. Studios, take note!"
"The 4 stars are for the movie. While this DVD is terrible in terms of extras I must confess I did buy it because it was cheap, has a great glittery cover, is anamorphic (the last one wasn't) and has a Dolby/DTS 5.1 soundtrack instead of the cruddy 2.0 sound on the last one.
The movie is great but the DVD ain't up to scratch. Linklater has said he is working on HIS OWN special edition with Criterion, which will include loads of cool stuff (much like Criterion have recently done with Linklater's Slacker). Universal denied Linklater this right with their 'Flashback' release so sit tight and wait for the definitive version.
If available cheap I am allowing you to buy to tide you over. Any REAL fan of the film wouldn't buy this version for an everlasting keep."
"I have already seen all the extras to this movie, so I only bought this for HD picture and HD sound.
The picture itself does suffer from some artifacting in a few spots and color is not always on, but for the most part this disc does look good, just not in the same league as the reference Blu-ray material like Pirates of the Caribbean, not by half.
The uncompressed PCM track though is where this disc shines. It is far superior to the DVD edition and I was more than happy enough with this purchase simply from that. The audio track provides crystal clear dialogue which never hurts in a Kevin Smith movie."
