"Bless the Sci-Fi channel...without them, we wouldn't get our cheesy film fix, like in this low-budget howler. The squid's special effects are pretty amateurish and some of the dialogue, especially from villain Jack Scalia, is pretty bad. You might find it mildly entertaining, but poor Charlie O'Connell, not seen too much since his time on his brother Jerry's SLIDERS and Victoria Pratt will never live this one down. Not totally bad, but not far from it."
"I wish there was less than one star to give --- I watched this movie for about 20 minutes before shutting it off and adding it to my pile of 'christmas gifts' ---"
"And it was totally worth it. I learned so much about the stunt industry, about how things happen behind the scenes, and especially about these two women featured in the Documentary.
I was amazed at the amount of work, and pain that goes into being a good stunt woman. I was also touched by the loving nature of Jeannie Epper and how she helped out a friend who was dying even if could have possibly ended her career, when she was struggling to KEEP her career going.
This is just an amazing story, and one that every fan of movies in general should check out. "
"Stuntwomen...what you need to know - they are hot...k nuff said. No seriously. These lady's O leaping jump in and out of danger to make other prissy chicks look good. Zoe Bell and Jeannie Epper befriend each other and discuss the trials and tribulations of being a woman in a predominantley male field.
you haven't seen it? Well now's your chance. The DVD boasts interviews with Tarantino (as he waxes on about his love of Xena), Spielberg, and Lucy Lawless. You see Jeannie deal with getting old in a young industry, Zoe landing the job on Kill Bill and the hilarity of what it takes to stay at the top of their game.
Buy it Pee ON!"
"This is the finest acting performance I've ever seen of Meat Loaf's. Not all the cast measures up to him, which diminishes the movie. It is gripping and suspenseful. Sometimes a bit unbelievable, but worth a watch to see 'Mr. Loaf' run the gamut of emotions."
