"[...]This film has believable action compared to the last few Bond films before Casino Royale and has some great set pieces, this is what action films should be like, great acting from Matt Damon and supporting cast, I even love the music as well and cant wait for this to come out on HD DVD as the 2nd film looks awesome on it. "A pretty good movie; though a depature from premise of the first two (not to mention the books) if you think about it. The character always knew who he was and where he came from before the job on the boat (first movie); he just had retrograde amnesia after being shot and left in the water. Im not sure why they decided to change the whole story at the very end and make it into some evil US Government brainwashing conspiracy (stupid), but it was a pretty good movie none the less. If it comes out on blu-ray i'll defintely pick it up..."
"I am so glad this finally came out on DVD. This is another one of the rare movies that I saw more than once in the theatres. Hamlet is one of my favorite plays - I've seen it performed in New York and London, in various guises, worked on two adaptations of it in very small, dark, off-off-broadway theatres, and I've read just about every book of criticism or acting method or literary analysis there is about Hamlet. I was dreading seeing this film because I went in thinking 'oh great, Ethan Hawke' - and came out loving it. I was so surprised by what a good job was done putting this together. The text was adapted in such a way that it fit the modern setting so well. And I've been out drinking with Dechen Thurman (rosencrantz or guildenstern, I forget), he's just like he is in the movie."
"Who says this falls short of its predecessor! I'd say it in fact trumps the first Bourne cameo with a tighter plot, a lower body count, and just as many edge-of-the-seat jolts.
The pivotal car chase in the movie tops most in memory, reminiscent of Ronin but set all over the world, from the unfeeling fields of Goa to the narrow streets of Berlin.
The villain is unmasked quickly this time round, but this isn't a whoduniti** a howdunit, keeping us riveted as we watch Bourne stay one step behind a solution and one step ahead of authorities.
The action sequences are fascinating, including a very creative deployment of a toaster as a deadly weapon in one particularly thrilling sequence.
Top notch stuff!"
